The Princess and the Race Car Driver

In the evening we went to a church festival with Aaron and Annette. The kids loved being with their cousins and enjoyed trunk-or-treating from cars in the parking lots and playing games. Jack won a cupcake in the Cupcake Walk. Here are Jack and Zach playing a game where you throw a ping-pong ball into a bucket of water filled with floating plastic cups. They revisited this game several times. It was just their speed.
Abby and Maddie found a very cooperative dog and plunked down next to him for a few minutes. Aren’t these girls too cute?!
Today they are eating up their candy. They really didn’t get too much this year, which is great. Last year we doled things out slowly, and this year I’m letting them gobble it up as fast as they want. One big sugar high, and then we’re done. Plus, no temptation to raid the candy bags when the kids go to bed! We’ll see how this goes…
